Hanes Fabrics Return Policy


Customer satisfaction is important to Hanes, and we realize that there may be circumstances in which you need to return product. Refunds applied to products sold on the HanesFabrics.com website are subject to the following requirements and limits.

  • Closeout items will not be refunded.
  • Damaged product from improper handling by freight carriers will not be refunded.
  • Customer refusal of shipments without legitimate reason will not be refunded.
  • Non-quality-related returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and without refund of shipping costs.
  • For all returns for any reason, please contact Hanes Customer Service at 800-430-8296 or hfcsales@hanesindustries.com. You will be issued a return authorization number, which must be clearly visible on each piece of returned merchandise.
  • Written requests for returns / refunds must be received within 10 business days of the receipt of the shipment.
  • Returned items must be received within 30 days of the original ship date.
  • The customer will be credited for product damaged by carrier mishandling. The customer has responsibility to sign the freight receipt as damaged and, if possible, take pictures to support Hanes' entering of a claim with the carrier. Unsubstantiated claims will not be refunded. For product shipped freight collect, it is the responsibility of the customer to file a claim with the carrier, and Hanes will not refund the shipment.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that items are properly packaged for shipment and that the return authorization number is clearly visible on each piece.
  • Non-quality-related returns will be inspected for yardage measurement and to ensure that items are in original, undamaged, and resalable condition.
  • Items found to be in non-salable condition will not be refunded and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
  • If items are deemed returnable, a refund of the quantity returned, less the restocking fee and shipping charges, will be issued.
  • Quality-related returns that have been properly authorized and properly packaged by the customer for return shipment will be refunded for the quantity received and for original freight charges.
